MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Bethel Spring Hill is to make disciples of all nations.
It is our vision to deliver people through the gospel of Jesus Christ,
develop them through teaching and training, and deploy them into their
destiny in the kingdom of God. In obedience to the call of God, we want
to change the world through church planting, campus ministry and world
evangelism.
CORE VALUES
Lordship. Because Jesus is "King of kings and
Lord of lords" we believe that whole-hearted submission to God's
will and his word is the starting point of the Christian faith and the
foundation of all spiritual growth.
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus
as Lord, continue to live in him. — Colossians 2:6
Evangelism. Because God's heart is to reach the lost,
we seek to build churches primarily through evangelism not transfer,
through birth not adoption.
For God so loved the world that he gave his
one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish
but have eternal life. — John 3:16
Discipleship. Because we are called to make disciples,
our primary focus is on ministering to people not conducting meetings,
administering programs or building buildings.
Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of
the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded
you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. — Matthew
28:19-20
Leadership Development. Because we are called to raise
up spiritual leaders, we prioritize leadership training and deliberately
create opportunities for young potential leaders to develop their gifts.
And the things you have heard me say in the
presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also
be qualified to teach others. — 2 Timothy 2
Family. Because the family is the foundation and validation
of all ministry, we refuse to sacrifice our marriages and our children
on the altars of temporal success. And, because we believe God has called
us to be a spiritual family, we reject the ides of disposable relationships
and choose to walk in life-long covenant, love, respect and unity.
Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders
labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen
stand guard in vain ... Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children
a reward from him. — Psalm 127:1,3 |
